Multipolar Technology together with Red Hat and Tech Data held the VisionDG Red Hat Webinar titled,  “Mendulang Untuk melalui Digitalisasi Bisnis,” on the 24th of November. This webinar explored how the VisionDG solution, a microservices-based digital platform, was build through an agile development process and running on a digital container platform such as Red Hat.

VisionDG is integrated from the back end to the front end so that digital transformation acceleration through open innovation and open collaboration with existing digital ecosystems can be done with agility, speed and ease. The features available in VisionDG can be adjusted to the scale of implementation, which includes mobile banking, QR code which refers to QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard), digital merchant system, to e-KYC (Know Your Customer), which can be utilized in the  banking, retail, pharmacy and others.

Multipolar Technology participated in the Virtual Exhibition IBM BP Summit 2020 on the 18th of November. In this event, MLPT brought two solutions, IBM Cloud Pak for Data (ICP4D) and IBM Cloud Object Storage (ICOS). On this occasion, the Presales of each product gave a virtual presentation according to their respective tracks.

ICP4D is a data platform that modernizes the way of collecting, organizing, analyzing overall corporate data and applying Artificial Intelligence (AI).   ICP4D makes it easy to find and access data, so it can increase productivity and be more effective.

ICOS is a solution that makes it possible to store unlimited amounts of data easily and save costs.  ICOS is generally used for data archiving and backup, with fast backup restoration because it uses disk as its device, both for web and mobile applications.

The obstacle faced by many companies is the management of server, storage and network infrastructure which are still separate / SILO. As a result, IT is difficult to develop,  increasingly complex, as well as, it is lagging behind and cannot  keep-up with fast-paced modern applications.

MLPT with IBM held “Optimize Business Decision with IBM InfoSphere Data Replication” Webinar on November 10. This webinar was hosted because we realized that data is one of the most important things in a company. However, with the variety of data types, data sources and data targets, plus the need for reporting and the increasingly agile business decision making, data cannot be processed easily and quickly.

IBM InfoSphere Data Replication (IIDR) offers a near real-time data replication solution capable of capturing changes in data sources (database, data warehouse, mainframe) and sending them directly to the target (database, messaging notification, text file) with minimum resources and bandwidth, because what is sent is only the data that changes.

IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D) is a data platform that modernizes collecting, organizing, analyzing all corporate data and applying Artificial Intelligence (AI).  The CP4D makes it easy to find and access data, increasing productivity and being more effective.

On October 20, MLPT & IBM held the “Transform and Expedite Decision Making with IBM Cloud Pak for Data” Webinar.

This webinar is the second webinar for CP4D, the difference is that this time it discusses the topic of Customer Segmentation. CP4D has 197 metadata as a template for starting a customer segmentation analysis.  And these data can be processed further in order to increase customer satisfaction, which in turn will increase revenue.

Multipolar Technology, together with IBM, collaborated with Infobank to collaborate in the   “Leading in Transformation with Service Improvement” Webinar on October 13.

The speakers for this webinar are Rico Usthavia Frans, Director of Information Technology from Bank Mandiri, representatives from MLPT Yohan Gunawan and from IBM Dedi Widharwanto. And also, the  keynote speaker was Teguh Supangkat, Deputy Commissioner for Banking Supervision I from OJK.

The topic in this webinar is about the development and use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in advancing business, especially in the financial sector.  The solution that fits this topic is IBM PowerAI, a server designed to provide an end-to-end deep learning platform (mimicking the brain’s way of thinking) for matter experts (non-data scientists), application developers, and data scientists. IBM PowerAI is also a solution for various human activities such as providing recommendations, facilitating interaction with customers, and providing business model analysis to develop better and more effectively.

ICOS is suitable for unstructured data such as audio, video, music and multimedia which can be further processed to assist business decision-making processes.

Business innovations must be able to provide added value and a personalized customer experience. There are many things to prepare, not only in terms of data but also API lifecycle management, integration between applications, Enterprise Messaging, Event Streams, fast file transfers and security systems that must be considered carefully.

On the other hand, with the many systems in use, challenges arise in rapidly integrating complex business processes into a simpler, more scalable and easily accessible one. All of these data must also be presented in a dashboard that is easy to understand for the user, making it easier to make decisions to accelerate business growth.

Responding to these challenges, Multipolar Technology and IBM collaborated on “Integration Made Simple in Today’s Speed of Business” Webinar last October 1. The solution that was delivered was the IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I).  CP4I is the most complete hybrid integration platform designed to support the scalability, security and flexibility required for digital transformation.

Nowadays, companies that implement a system of working from home or remotely for their employees is not few. When companies implement this system,  remote access for employees must be prioritized so that productivity is maintained and the business continues to be smooth, safe and comfortable.

On the other hand, this opens a security loophole that is easily infiltrated, because the device used for access is not guaranteed to be virus or malware free.  It is also not guaranteed whether the user is authorized to access the data accordingly.

Multipolar Technology and F5 held “Create a Secure & Encrypted Connection” Webinar on  September 17. This webinar discussed about F5 SLL, which is a solution that can protect against security breaches when working outside the office or remote working.  With this F5 technology, employees who work from home don’t have to worry about accessing company features that would normally only be opened using office internet access.

On the 10th of September, MLPT and IBM held “Enable the Next Generation of IT Infrastructure” Webinar. This webinar discussed solutions on IBM Software-Defined Storage (SDS) and IBM Utility Storage.
